During the course, the hands-on exploration fosters creativity, problem-solving skills, and foundational engineering insights, covering key topics like motor dynamics, sensors (color, distance, force, gyroscope), and essential Python programming elements for creating and controlling robotic inventions.

Highlights

The course will center around the following topics:

Hands-on Robotics Exploration: Delving into the world of robotics using the LEGO Spike Prime robot, students get hands-on experience with building and controlling intelligent machines.

Python Programming: Learning to harness the power of Python, a widely used programming language, to bring robotic creations to life.

Sensor Expertise: Gaining practical knowledge about various sensors including color, distance, force, and gyroscope sensors, allowing participants to make their robots interact with the environment intelligently.

Programming Proficiency: Mastering essential programming concepts such as loops, conditions, variables, lists, matrices, functions, modules, and packages, empowering participants to code complex functionalities.

Creativity Unleashed: Designing and coding own robotic inventions, honing students’ imaginative skills along the way.

Requirements

Scoolers need to take the MIX 312 course or the Logiscool Entry Test for Advanced programming courses as a prerequisite.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: We provide all the necessary tools for the course.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: Each student will need a computer at home with a solid internet connection, plus a built-in or external microphone. We recommend having a headset, a web camera, and a Google account as well. Our course teachers will provide information about the necessary free software before the course.
