Detailed information

OPEN DAYS

Your child can try the first lesson for free. The courses take place directly at your school, and since the capacity of the IT classrooms is limited, it is necessary to register your child in advance. If you decide not to continue after the first lesson, simply cancel the registration by email no later than 3 days after the trial lesson. After this date, an invoice will be issued.

PICKING UP AT THE SCHOOL CLUB

Children can be picked up or returned to the after-school club, if allowed by the school. This information must be provided during course registration in the "Comments" field, including the exact name of the after-school club or your child's class (e.g., 2.A, 3.B, etc.).

MAKE-UP SESSIONS

In our courses, we offer the option to make up lessons that have been excused in advance. The form of make-up depends on the specific course:

Basics of programming:

  • Make-up lessons take place online on Sunday evenings. Each session replaces the specific missed lesson.
  • You can attend up to 2 online make-up lessons (90 minutes each) per trimester, i.e., up to 6 per school year.

Introduction to the Digital World and Artificial Intelligence & Digital Creation:

  • We offer make-up options either as an online lesson (on a pre-scheduled date) or a workshop at our Prague 5 location.
  • You can attend up to 2 online lessons (55 minutes each) or 1 workshop (120 minutes) per semester, i.e., up to 4 make-ups per school year.
  • In these courses, the make-up session does not replace the exact missed lesson but provides a new thematic learning experience.

How make-ups work:

  • Make-up lessons must be arranged in advance with the course coordinator.
  • You will receive the date and login instructions for the online lesson a few days in advance.
  • For online learning, your child will need a computer or laptop, a stable internet connection, a microphone (built-in or external), and a mouse. A camera is not required, but we recommend using one to improve communication and student engagement.
  • No software installation is needed.
CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel your registration free of charge within 3 days after the first lesson. If you decide not to continue with the course, please inform us by email within this period. After this deadline, the first invoice will be issued. The paid course fee is non-refundable.

Course registration is valid for the entire school year. Subsequent invoices will be issued automatically. If you decide not to continue with the course, you must notify us in writing by email before the next invoice is issued.
