Digital Discovery

Digital knowledge for children

Digital technologies pervade and actively shape all areas of our life. They're present in our cell phones, our smart devices, and in the lives of our children. In fact, even our kids, who were already born into this world, face numerous challenges as digital solutions change daily. Therefore, even children with an affinity for digital gizmos need to learn how to navigate this world consciously and safely – they must become digitally literate. Our brand new Digital Discovery course was specifically designed to give a playful handhold in this learning process.

We have chosen topics that are indispensable (and will become even more so in the future), but which receive little emphasis in primary school.

A sampling of the course:

  • We help children establish self-confidence and a conscious presence in online space.
  • They can test themselves in computer-oriented creator roles: they can code, make a computer game and edit video.
  • They will learn how to search online safely, and how to have a critical attitude toward material found online.
  • They can try ten-finger typing.
  • We help them recognize online sources of danger and explore their digital footprint.
  • We teach them the idiosyncrasies of online communication, the important questions of data security and the self-conscious sharing of data.
  • And many other points of digital interest.

The course will help children become digitally literate and conscious creators, which will have a profound effect on their lives. Experimenting with coding and other digital activities also develops algorithmic thinking and creativity, which can also have a positive effect on their school performance.

Let your child explore the secrets of the digital world and become a self-conscious, confident creator in online space.
