Why is AI education important? – Parents’ opinions
A recent Logiscool survey shows that Hungarian and Romanian parents recognize the benefits of artificial intelligence, but many feel uncertain about how to support their children in using it. Parents mainly value AI in supporting learning (such as spelling, language learning, or expanding knowledge), while they are more skeptical about creative uses. Their biggest concern is that AI could weaken children’s critical thinking and independent problem-solving. Although most families already talk about AI at home, real support requires schools and educational programs to step in.

Roblox, one of the most popular online platforms among children, has announced new safety measures to better protect younger users on the platform. To access chat features, players will now need to complete facial age verification, making Roblox one of the first large gaming platforms to introduce this system for users of all ages. The new approach enables age-based chat, helping ensure more age-appropriate interactions and limiting communication between adults and children under 16. (Roblox)
The update reflects a broader effort across the tech industry to make online spaces safer for young users.
