Roblox Game “Hacker” Camp

Is your kid interested not just in playing but also in designing their own, unique Roblox game? At our newest camp, we take Roblox to the next level. Our campers will go beyond playing and explore the actual code behind their favorite gaming platform! They will design and create their own Roblox game, using and editing scripts in the Lua programming language!

From gamer to game developer!

The aim of this camp is to develop kids’ logical capabilities by designing their own Roblox game! Kids will create and modify their own custom game by using different mods, scripts, and game design concepts, getting familiar with the Lua programming language used by Roblox. By the end of the camp, students will be able to create and publish their first custom Roblox game, which they can share with their friends on any platform!

Highlights

During the camp, kids will be able to:

Create custom mods and maps within the game

Create customized games by editing scripts written in the Lua programming language

Get familiar with fundamental game design principles used in game development

Learn how to share the games they created

Develop their logical and algorithmic thinking skills by learning about how to use and edit scripts in the Lua programming language

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this camp. However, we do not recommend participation if the camper has already created and designed multiple games in Roblox.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool camps: We provide all the necessary tools for the camp.
  • In case, the school opens online camps: To participate in the online camps, kids will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, plus a built-in or external microphone. We recommend having a headset and a web camera too. All the necessary software is provided by us. With information on how to install the software, our school leaders will contact you prior to the camp.

Payment

In all cases, we issue an e-invoice in the student's name for the camp fee, which should be settled by bank transfer one week prior to the first day of the camp

Technical details

Június 19. - július 21., valamint július 31. - augusztus 4. között 6 héten keresztül várjuk a 7-18 éves táborozni vágyókat!

  • Időpontok:Táboraink hétfőtől péntekig tartanak, a tábor típusától függően 9:00-16:30-ig.

  • Érkezés és távozás: Érkezni 8:30-tól lehetséges és legkésőbb 17:15-ig tudunk felügyeletet biztosítani.

  • Ellátás: Tízórait, ebédet és uzsonnát biztosítunk a gyerekeknek, mely tartalmaz friss gyümölcsöt, zöldséget is. Kérjük, a regisztrációnál jelezzétek gyermeketek esetleges ételallergiáját! Biztosítani tudjuk a laktóz- vagy gluténmentes menüt.

Camp types

Egész napos tábor: A diákok a nap egyik felében tematikus programon vesznek részt, míg a nap második felében szabadidős programot biztosítunk nekik. Az egész napos tábor esetében több helyszínt használunk: a Logiscool iskola helyszínét, a Pünkösdfürdői Strand területét, a Dunakavics Bowling Klubot, valamint a közeli sportpályákat és az újonnan nyílt Pünkösdfürdői Parkot.

Szabadidős program: A tematikus programok mellett változatos szabadidős tevékenységek várják a gyerekeket: rengeteg játék, strandolás, LaserX, tollas, frizbi, nyilazás, lengőtenisz, asztalitenisz, foci, kosárlabda, népszerű sorjátékok, számháború, rengeteg logikai és társasjáték! Felkészült animátoraink és táborvezetőink gondoskodnak a gyerekek biztonságáról. Az agyuk megtornáztatása mellett figyelünk arra, hogy a mozgás, a sport és a csapatmunka is része legyen mindennapi életünknek.

Félnapos tábor: Félnapos táborunkban a diákok szakmai programon vesznek részt a Logiscool iskolában délelőtt (9:00-12:30), ami tartalmazza a tízórait, igény esetén tudunk ebédet biztosítani.
