We as parents know that digital literacy has become an essential tool for navigating the present and the future. In our special courses, our dedicated trainers will help your kids become self-confident and conscious users of digital tools and online platforms including the basics of programming. All this, in a playful, fun, and easily understandable way.

Improve your kids’ digital skills!

Like most kids, your child will also grow up with a smart phone or tablet in hand, either in the home environment or outside of it. Equip your kids with the tools and critical thinking skills that can help them navigate an increasingly digitized future. This course will cover the basics of algorithmic thinking and programming, digital content creation, as well as internet use and safety. It will also introduce kids to computer hardware, digital devices, and robotics. With us, your kids can enjoy the path to digital literacy, learning essential skills in a playful manner!

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this course.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: A Google account is necessary for participation. We provide all the necessary tools for the course.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: To participate in the online course, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, a built-in or external microphone, a Google account and a mouse. We recommend having a headset and a web camera as well. The software needed for online communication is provided by us.

Detailed information

Course Period

Our second semester courses will begin during the week of February 3, 2025, and will run until June 15, 2025. The semester includes 17 sessions. Classes are held once a week in the format of 2x45-minute lessons. Groups will start at 3:00 PM and 4:35 PM on weekdays, and at 9:30 AM and 11:05 AM on Saturdays. The week before the start of the course, we will send a letter to all parents containing all the important information regarding the course start.

Enrollment

For New Students: We regularly offer FREE open demo classes from the end of August, where your children can get a taste of the wonders of experience-based programming. As a parent, you will receive information about how, what, and with which methods we teach. Meanwhile, your child can create their first computer game and take the experience home.

For Returning Students: You can register for the next module of your ongoing course using the registration code sent to you via email. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!

Discounts and Payment Terms

Sibling Discount: 5%

The maximum combinable discount is 10%.

In every case, we issue an e-invoice in the student's name for the course fee, which should be settled by bank transfer before the first Logiscool class of the month.

Absence and Make-up Opportunities

Our principle is that if a student is absent, we ensure they have the opportunity to make up the missed class so they do not fall behind and can learn the missed material. In all cases, the school leader will coordinate with the parent to arrange the make-up session. We provide a minimum of 3 free make-up opportunities per semester.

Application Process

On the registration platform, you can select alternative time slots in addition to your preferred time. Please mark all suitable times in the dropdown menu! If none of the available times are convenient, please contact the school leader or select any time slot and provide additional information in the COMMENTS section so we can find a solution. The comments field is located at the end of the registration form.
