Allow your child to find their way in the digital space. Digital literacy has become an essential tool for navigating the present and the future. In our special course, kids will learn about a wide range of digital topics to help them find their true passion. Our dedicated trainers will help kids become self-confident and conscious users of digital tools and online platforms.

Improve your kids’ digital skills!

Coding has become an essential tool in a variety of fields, from academic research to animation and design. However, IT and digital education in primary schools is often outdated. Meanwhile, our kids are spending more and more unsupervised time on their devices. Help them become digital creators instead of just passive consumers!

Highlights

The course will center around the following themes:

Internet security and privacy basics: personal data, secure browsers, critical and responsible information consumption and sharing, netiquette and online communication

Digital content creation: digital drawing, image and video editing, text, presentation, and spreadsheet editing

Programming introduced in a gradual manner: from block-based coding and calculation through easy-to-understand visual platforms, all the way to text-based coding

The basics of programming: algorithmic thinking, cycles, variable management (time-logical variables), random numbers, and an introduction to various programming languages

The basics of web development and web design

Learning and understanding the fundamental elements of computer hardware and how it functions

Robotics: building and programming robots (Bee-Bot, mBot)

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this course.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: A Google account is necessary for participation. We provide all the necessary tools for the course.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: To participate in the online course, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, a built-in or external microphone, a Google account and a mouse. We recommend having a headset and a web camera as well. The software needed for online communication is provided by us.

Enrolling in the advanced courses requires successfully completing a test.

PRICES, DISCOUNTS AND PAYMENT Prices

Prices

The annual fee for the course is 185.490 HUF, which includes a 10% discount, 34 sessions (34x90 minutes) from September 2023 to June 2024. The semi-annual fee is 97.900 HUF/semester, which includes 17 sessions (17x90 minutes) and a 5% discount (February 2024 - June 2024). The course fee can also be paid in equal installments on a monthly basis. The monthly installment is 22.900 HUF/month (September 2023 - June 2024). The monthly installments are the same regardless of the number of hours in a given month.

Discounts

  • Group Discount: 5% - applies when at least 4 new students register together for our program for the first time. The discount applies to the first academic year of the Logiscool course.
  • Sibling Discount: 5% - applies when both siblings enroll in our school for the same academic year. The discount is valid as long as both siblings are studying in our school.
  • Semi-annual fee discount with commitment: 5%
  • The maximum combinable discount is 15%.

Payment

In all cases, we issue an e-invoice in the student's name for the course fee, which should be settled by bank transfer until the first Logiscool session of the respective month.

DATES AND APPLICATION

Our courses start in the week commencing February 5, 2024, and run until June 15, 2024.

The academic year includes 34 Logiscool sessions, 17 sessions in each term (autumn, spring). Our sessions are 90 minutes long once a week (2x45 minutes). We start groups on weekdays at 15:00 and 16:45, and on Saturdays at 9:30 and 11:15.

In case of absence, we provide 3 free replacement options per semester

In the registration form, besides specifying the preferred time slot, there is also an option to select alternative time slots. Please make sure to mark all suitable time slots in the drop-down menu. If none of the available time slots is suitable, please contact the school principal or choose any time slot and provide additional information for us in the NOTES field so that we can find a solution. The NOTES field is located at the end of the registration form.

We will send a letter to every parent in the week before the course starts, which will contain all the important information regarding the course commencement.
