We as parents know that digital literacy has become an essential tool for navigating the present and the future. In our special courses, our dedicated trainers will help your kids become self-confident and conscious users of digital tools and online platforms including the basics of programming. All this, in a playful, fun, and easily understandable way.

Improve your kids’ digital skills!

Like most kids, your child will also grow up with a smart phone or tablet in hand, either in the home environment or outside of it. Equip your kids with the tools and critical thinking skills that can help them navigate an increasingly digitized future. This course will cover the basics of algorithmic thinking and programming, digital content creation, as well as internet use and safety. It will also introduce kids to computer hardware, digital devices, and robotics. With us, your kids can enjoy the path to digital literacy, learning essential skills in a playful manner!

Highlights

The course will center around the following themes:

Algorithmic thinking

Programming: from block-based coding and calculation through easy-to-understand visual platforms, all the way to text-based coding

Digital content creation: 3D game design, digital drawing, image and video editing, text and presentation editing

Internet use and safety: online security, netiquette and online communication

The basic use of computer hardware and digital devices

Robotics

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this course.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: A Google account is necessary for participation. We provide all the necessary tools for the course.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: To participate in the online course, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, a built-in or external microphone, a Google account and a mouse. We recommend having a headset and a web camera as well. The software needed for online communication is provided by us.

ENROLLMENT

Greetings! We are happy to welcome everyone interested in our courses. We have enrollment every September for our autumn semester and every February for our spring semester.

TO OUR CURRENT STUDENTS: During August, we are setting up a simplified pre-registration version for our autumn courses and we will notify the parents via email. TO OUR NEW STUDENTS: If you still haven’t, come and visit us at our family Open days, free of charge! As a parent, you will get all the information about how we teach and the methods we use. Your child will be able to create his own video game and take that wonderful experience home.

Advanced course requirements: level placement test successfully passed

PRICES, DISCOUNTS AND PAYMENTS

Course prices:

  • Yearly fee 50.400 RSD/year, semester fee 25.200 RSD/semester, monthly installment 5.600 RSD/ month
  • When paying in monthly installments, 4 equal installments need to be paid in the amount of 5.600 RSD, regardless of the teaching hours per month, with the exception of one installment that is 2.800 RSD.

Payment method

We issue an e-invoice, and we kindly ask you to pay it via bank transfer according to the e fiscal invoice.

DATES AND APPLICATION

Our courses follow the school year. At Logiscool we have two semesters, autumn semester, starts in middle of September and lasts until February, the spring semester starts in February and lasts till the end of June. Application for the autumn semester is in September and application for spring semester is in February.

Both semesters include 17 Logiscool classes. Classes are held once a week and last 90 minutes (2x45 minutes). We can provide individual lessons also (1 pupil), the lesson lasts 60 minutes and the price is a bit different.

In case the student is absent, we organize up to 3 additional free classes.

You can choose the preferred course time during registration or, if none of them are suitable, please feel free to contact the school coordinator.

Parents get all the necessary information via email before the course starts.
