On May 29, we were visited by the participants of the international First Lego League competition, who won the workshop of their choice. They chose the topic of video production and learned the basics of video production, from planning and filming to editing and editing. Students tried various video production techniques and created their own short videos, which they edited and supplemented with effects. At the end, we watched all the videos together and appreciated the students' creativity. We thank them for their participation and wish them good luck in the next competitions. We look forward to the next meeting at Logiscool Žilina!
During the summer of 2024, in addition to the classic topics of Minecraft, Roblox or programming, children can expect several novelties, not only in Minecraft but also in the world of digital creation - AI, YouTube, web design or 3D printing.
Meet our Team!
We are very happy that we opened the Logiscool Žilina branch in September 2021. We teach children not only to passively receive digital content, but also to actively create it, so that they can later influence the digital future.
In our courses, they learn to program in a fun way and thus acquire the skills of the future. In addition, our workshops deal with the topics of digital illustration, creating mobile applications or Minecraft. We also organize open days, camps, birthday parties or school excursions.
We are very proud of building a community in Žilina thanks to our teachers who help children on their way, learn with them, but also play and have fun. At the same time, they meet new friends with similar interests, either in person at Logiscool or virtually on the MyLogiscool portal.

I decided to open the school at a time when the pandemic took over the world and children spent most of their time online. I want to offer the opportunity not only to my own children, but also to other children, so that they can constantly develop in today's rapidly changing world. It's an opportunity to help them use screen time effectively and meaningfully. With over 20 years of IT experience, I understand the importance of digital skills for the new generation and the importance of preparing them for future occupations that don't even exist yet. In Žilina, we have high-quality technically focused secondary schools and faculties of the University of Žilina, which need to constantly recruit smart students. These people then help the region and Slovakia in digital transformation. I believe that the experiences that the children get at our school will be the basis of their future. Confidence in their digital skills will make it easier for them to make decisions about education and career choices, whether it's college or work in an unfamiliar digital world.

I have been part of the Logiscool team in Žilina since 2023. I started as a programming lecturer and from September of the same year I moved to the role of school coordinator. My task is to ensure the daily running of the school in order to fulfill the parents' expectations and the children's satisfaction. As a student with a focus on IT, I am convinced that it is essential that children develop their analytical and critical thinking in the field of IT from an early age. Many times it happens that the school environment hinders their digital development. That's why I'm very happy to work in a school that not only focuses on traditional education, but also supports children's relationship with the world of IT and digital technologies in a playful way.
