Every October, Cybersecurity Awareness Month reminds us all to take a closer look at how we use and protect our digital tools. The initiative, launched globally more than 20 years ago, aims to raise awareness about online risks and provide practical steps everyone can take to stay safe. From choosing strong passwords to recognizing phishing attempts, these habits help build a safer digital environment for families, schools, and communities. At Logiscool, we see cybersecurity not just as a technical skill, but as an essential part of digital literacy for children. This month is a great opportunity to talk with children about online safety and strengthen the habits that protect them every day.

New Camp Alert: AI Creator Lab!

We’re introducing AI Creator Lab, a brand-new camp where children explore the creative side of artificial intelligence while designing their own digital projects! During the week, students learn how to generate ideas, create visuals, and organize content using modern AI-supported tools like Canva and Wix — all while learning about responsible AI use. By the end of the camp, every participant publishes their own creative website!

Roblox Introduces Stricter Chat Safety for Children

Roblox, one of the most popular online platforms among children, has announced new safety measures to better protect younger users on the platform. To access chat features, players will now need to complete facial age verification, making Roblox one of the first large gaming platforms to introduce this system for users of all ages. The new approach enables age-based chat, helping ensure more age-appropriate interactions and limiting communication between adults and children under 16. (Roblox)

The update reflects a broader effort across the tech industry to make online spaces safer for young users.
