Codia is a Hungarian-developed, playful, educational platform that enables children to directly program their own Minecraft worlds, using command blocks similar to those already taught in Logiscool.
The course enables every child to learn Minecraft to the next level while developing their programming skills. Starting from programs that make building much easier, by the end of the course, students will be able to make their own programmed adventure tracks, filled with their own graphics and sounds. Participants can try each others’ tracks, and at home they can continue to develop their adventure independently or even together for free.
What will they learn during the courses?
- programming principles (advanced)
- the use of the Codia platform which allows programming Minecraft
What do they need for the course?
- Each participant will need a valid Minecraft subscription (PC/Mac). If you don’t have one yet, you can buy it here for your child: https://minecraft.net/en/store/minecraft.
- Attention! The WINDOWS 10/Android/XBOX/PS4 license is NOT COMPATIBLE with this course!
Who do we recommend it to? - Recommended age group: 8-12 years (min 3rd grade)
We recommend it for our students from the age group who have been programming for at least two semesters at Logiscool and have played with Minecraft.
