Robotics - LEGO

Building and programming LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots

Robotics is one of the fastest growing industries today that surrounds us in almost every area of our lives. During the two-semester course, children get an insight into this technology through the construction and programming of Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots.
During the semester, students learn to use the programmable building blocks and sensors of the LEGO robot, and can compete with each other using their robots to accomplish different tasks. Meanwhile, their creativity and problem-solving skills will improve naturally. While working with robots, students will learn basic programming skills almost unnoticed by using a visual programming language developed by LEGO.

What will they learn during the course?

  • algorithmic thinking
  • programming basics
  • the principles of robotics
  • programming the LEGO MindStorms EV3 robot

Who do we recommend it to? - Recommended age group: 9-18 years (min. 4th grade)
