We as parents know that digital literacy has become an essential tool for navigating the present and the future. In our special courses, our dedicated trainers will help your kids become self-confident and conscious users of digital tools and online platforms including the basics of programming. All this, in a playful, fun, and easily understandable way.

Improve your kids’ digital skills!

Like most kids, your child will also grow up with a smart phone or tablet in hand, either in the home environment or outside of it. Equip your kids with the tools and critical thinking skills that can help them navigate an increasingly digitized future. This course will cover the basics of algorithmic thinking and programming, digital content creation, as well as internet use and safety. It will also introduce kids to computer hardware, digital devices, and robotics. With us, your kids can enjoy the path to digital literacy, learning essential skills in a playful manner!

Highlights

The course will center around the following themes:

Algorithmic thinking

Programming: from block-based coding and calculation through easy-to-understand visual platforms, all the way to text-based coding

Digital content creation: 3D game design, digital drawing, image and video editing, text and presentation editing

Internet use and safety: online security, netiquette and online communication

The basic use of computer hardware and digital devices

Robotics

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this course.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: A Google account is necessary for participation. We provide all the necessary tools for the course.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: To participate in the online course, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, a built-in or external microphone, a Google account and a mouse. We recommend having a headset and a web camera as well. The software needed for online communication is provided by us.

TO OUR CURRENT STUDENTS: Courses/new semester has started In July, 2022.

FOR NEW STUDENTS: If you haven't visited us yet, we look forward to meeting you on our free family open days! As a parent, you will receive information about how and with what method we teach. Your child can also play their first computer game and take the experience home.

  • ADVANCED PROGRAMMING COURSES - GODOT/PYTHON/UNITY

Enrollment condition for the advanced courses: successful completion of a level assessment test.


Prices, discounts and payment

Course fee

  • The Semester fee is SGD 820, this fee can be paid in equated monthly instalments. The monthly fee in this case would be SGD 164 (before discount)

  • The amount of monthly instalments is the same, regardless of the number of hours in a given month.

  • The course fee can also be paid in one sum: SGD 820 . In this case, there will be an additional discount.

Discounts

  • Group discount: 10% - if at least 4 new students apply

  • Sibling discount: 10%

Payment

In all cases, we issue an e-invoice for the course fee issued in the name of the student, which we ask you to settle by the first Logiscool class of the given month by bank transfer.

Dates and application

Our courses start the week of September 19, 2022 and last until mid December, 2022

In the event of a shortage, we provide a free replacement option, offered three times every semester.

In addition to specifying the preferred time on the registration interface, it is also possible to select alternative times. Please mark all suitable times in the drop-down menu! If none of the available dates are suitable, please contact the head of school or select (any) date and provide us with additional information in the COMMENT field so that we can find a solution. The COMMENT field is located at the end of the registration form.

We send a letter to all parents the week before the start of the course, which contains all important information about the start of the course.
