Video Production

Let your kid foster their creativity through one of the most important mediums of the 21st century; moving images. We will set them on the path to self-expression, as they become the directors of their own movie!

Creative storytelling!

During our Video Production course, students get to know the main principles of creative movie making. They will create their own movie, becoming its screenwriters, directors, editors, and post-production specialists.

During this course, students get to know different movie genres, learn the fundamentals of video editing, and get familiar with the coolest movie tricks and techniques, like subtitles, special effects, and green screens. The focus of the course is to enable kids to tell their story the way they want to. They can create a dramatic documentary, shoot punchy advertisements, or create film vlog episodes about their life.

Highlights

The course will center around the following themes:

Introduction to the basics of video creation and editing

Understanding the post-production process and different editing techniques and styles

Understanding various movie genres

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this course.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: Every student will need to bring a device that can record video (a smartphone, tablet, or GoPro for example) and earphones with them to every class.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: Besides the video recording device and earphones, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, plus a built-in or external microphone. We recommend having a headset and a web camera too. The software needed for online communications is provided by us.

FOR NEW STUDENTS: If you haven't visited us yet, we look forward to meeting you on our free family open days! As a parent, you will receive information about how and with what method we teach. Your child can also play their first computer game and take the experience home.

  • PROGRAMMING COURSES FOR 4th GRADE STUDENTS

  • ADVANCED PROGRAMMING COURSES - GODOT/PYTHON/UNITY

Enrollment condition for the advanced courses: successful completion of a level assessment test.


Prices, discounts and payment

Course fee

  • The Semester fee is SGD 820, this fee can be paid in equated monthly instalments. The monthly fee in this case would be SGD 164 (before discount)

  • The amount of monthly instalments is the same, regardless of the number of hours in a given month.

  • The course fee can also be paid in one sum: SGD 820 . In this case, there will be an additional discount.

Discounts

  • Group discount: 10% - if at least 4 new students apply

  • Sibling discount: 10%

Payment

In all cases, we issue an e-invoice for the course fee issued in the name of the student, which we ask you to settle by the first Logiscool class of the given month by bank transfer.

Dates and application

Our courses start the week of September 19, 2022 and last until mid December, 2022

In the event of a shortage, we provide a free replacement option, offered three times every semester.

In addition to specifying the preferred time on the registration interface, it is also possible to select alternative times. Please mark all suitable times in the drop-down menu! If none of the available dates are suitable, please contact the head of school or select (any) date and provide us with additional information in the COMMENT field so that we can find a solution. The COMMENT field is located at the end of the registration form.

We send a letter to all parents the week before the start of the course, which contains all important information about the start of the course.
