Courses and Prices

Developing digital skills with digital literacy, programming and AI courses for children

Courses start the week of February, 12th 2024. Registration for courses runs from December to the end of February! Beginners and advanced students are welcome. Do your kids like computer games and want to learn more? Programming in our courses is the right choice for them. We offer courses adapted to any level of knowledge in all age groups from 7 to 18 years old.

HOW TO REGISTER

FOR CURRENT STUDENTS: Existing students are automatically registered for the second semester on the same date and time. If you want to change your course, let us know and we will work with you to find a suitable alternative.

FOR NEW STUDENTS: If you haven't taken our courses before, you can take advantage of our free demo lessons! As a parent, you will get information about our courses and how we teach. Your child can create their first computer game and take it home. Or you can sign up for one of our courses straight away. We offer following types of courses.

  • DIGITAL DISCOVERY - FOR STUDENTS 7-10 YEARS OLD
  • PROGRAMMING COURSES FOR STUDENTS FROM 9 YEARS
  • ADVANCED PROGRAMMING COURSES - GODOT/PYTHON/UNITY/DATA SCIENCE
  • VIDEO PRODUCTION COURSE

Prerequisite for enrolling in advanced courses: successful completion of a level assessment test

PRICES, DISCOUNTS, PAYMENT METHODS

COURSE FEES

The course fees are charged semi-annually (September - January, February - June). We always quote the prices for the course for each semester. You can pay the course fee as follows

  • in one amount in advance
  • in two instalments
  • in 4 instalments (monthly)

After registration we will issue you an invoice, on the basis of this invoice you will make the payment by transfer to our account. Please always indicate the variable symbol. Benefit vouchers or cards (Benefit plus, Sodexo, Edenred) can also be used for payment.


DISCOUNTS AND ALLOWANCES

  • Group discount: 5% (for groups of 3 or more new students)
  • Sibling discount: 5%
  • Early registration discount: 15%
  • Special promo codes, which we provide to participants of the demonstration lessons or through our partners (e.g. T-Mobile)

Max. discount amount: 20%

You can take advantage of the subsidies provided by the city districts (Prague 5, Prague 6, Prague 17) and within the Daruj kroužky program.

COURSE ORGANISATION

Our spring courses start the week of February, 12th 2024. We do not teach during the Easter holidays (1 week). The spring semester will end the week ending June, 15th 2024. We will send you the exact schedule of lessons after registration and acceptance of your application.

The semester includes 17 lessons. Our classes run once a week for 90 minutes (2x45 minutes). Courses at the branch are held on weekdays at 2.50pm and 4.30pm. Online courses are held on weekdays from 4:30pm and 6pm and also on Saturdays from 9:30am.

If you are unable to attend a lesson, please excuse your child in advance. We will offer you the option of an make-up lesson, ideally in a different group of the same level that week. In the event of illness, online classes can also be used for make-ups. You are also entitled to an individual make-ups of 30 minutes three times per term.

We send an email to all parents one week prior to the start of the course that includes all important information.

Edutaining community platform - MyLogiscool

By joining Logiscool, kids receive free and continuous access to our unique edutaining community portal. We start coding education with “building blocks”. Our unique visual coding method is always best adjusted to all ages and knowledge levels.

As a second step, students start writing codes in MIX mode, where they can see both the building blox and the text-based languages in parallel.

Once they feel confident to leave the visual blocks behind, we move to text-based programming languages, like Python, Unity, Godot or C#.
