Minecraft City of Heroes

In one of our most popular camps, kids can now look at the depths of the game: They can learn about the endless possibilities offered by the redstone and build mechanical structures that can be controlled using virtual compound circuits. All this knowledge can then be used to build a futuristic city and the headquarters of their favorite superheroes within it. The limit is their imagination!

Development and play!

With Minecraft, students can develop their logical and algorithmic thinking skills by building structures and designs within the game. The course also helps kids develop their creativity, as they will be the creators and designers of the future city of their favorite superheroes!

Highlights

During the camp, kids will be able to:

Get familiar with Minecraft, how is the game structured and how it works

Get familiar with the logic gates, redstones, and various Minecraft functions

Design and construct the future city of their superheroes

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this camp.

Necessary software

  • For our offline camps: The camp requires a valid Minecraft subscription (PC/Mac). If you don't have one, you can purchase it here: https://minecraft.net/en/store/minecraft, but pay attention that Android/XBOX/PS4 licenses are NOT acceptable for this camp.
  • In case, the school opens online camps: Besides the aforementioned Minecraft subscription, to participate in the online camp, kids will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, plus a built-in or external microphone. We recommend having a headset and a web camera too.

General Information

Our SUMMER camps will take place between June 24 - August 16.

We are looking forward to welcoming 6 to 16-year-old kids and teens at Elviria Business Center!

Dates & times: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 1:00 pm or until 3:00 pm

Our campers will attend the digital activities depending on the selected group.

+ EXTRA: after 1:00 pm we are going to organize outdoor games, maintaining a healthy balance between digital activities and outdoor activities.

Arrivals:

  • from 9.00 – 9:30am

Departures:

  • from 1:00 – 1:30 pm or 2:30-3:00pm

Additional info:

  • Snack break from 11.00 - 11.30 am. Kids will need to bring a snack from home, we provide water and fruits for our campers.
  • Optional lunch at 2:00 pm: you can contract the daily menu served by Kids&Coffee
  • Important: during the registration please provide any food allergies your child may have

PARKING: Our Logiscool center is located on the Avenida las Cumbres, behind the ACOSOL building. next to the A7 road, between the El Rosario and Elviria exits. You can easily park on both sides of the road in front of the building.

Our center offers camps with reduced group size, i.e. a maximum of 12 campers (plus one trainer) will be in the same room at the same time.

Prices and discounts

PRICES:

  • 5 days camp (9.00-1.00 PM): 135€
  • 5 days extended camp (9.00-3.00 PM): 155€
  • Arrivals and departures from 9.00 and between 1.00-1.30 pm or 2:30 - 3:00 pm

DISCOUNTS:

  • Early bird discount: 5% (for all applications before May 31)
  • Sibling discount: 5% if registered together
  • Bring your buddy discount: 5% (inform us about your friend's name during registration)
  • 5 % loyalty discount for Logiscool students
  • Max accumulative discount: 10%

PAYMENT: Important note - Your seat will be confirmed once the full payment is received. We will send you an electronic invoice, and the discounts (if any) will be reflected in this same invoice. The proof of payment must arrive 5 days before the start of the camp.

About the registration process:

  • You register through our web form, once chosen the date and type of camp.
  • You will receive an email with the payment information and an electronic invoice sent by a separate email. When making the bank wire, please introduce your child's name and invoice no. in the concept field.
  • Once the payment is received, THE SEAT WILL BE CONFIRMED.

IMPORTANT! The full amount must be paid 5 days before the start of the camp so that your child can participate in our camps.

NOTE: If we don't reach the minimum number. of kids per group for the chosen camp, you will be able to choose another type of camp. Otherwise, the amount will be reimbursed.

ADDITIONAL INFO

INFORMATION FOR THE MINECRAFT CAMP:

The activities require a MINECRAFT licence, Java edition for PC. There are 2 options:

  • You can use your own licence; please note that the licences for WINDOWS 10 / Android / XBOX / PS4 are NOT VALID for our camps. You may purchase it through the following link: https://www.minecraft.net/en-es/store/minecraft-java-bedrock-edition-pc. (Price: 29.99€, no expiry date).
  • You may use one of our licences, at no additional cost. However, your kid will not have access to the account from home.
