Let your kid foster their creativity through one of the most important mediums of the 21st century; moving images. We will set them on the path to self-expression, as they become the directors of their own movie!

Creative storytelling!

During our Video Production course, students get to know the main principles of creative movie making. They will create their own movie, becoming its screenwriters, directors, editors, and post-production specialists.

During this course, students get to know different movie genres, learn the fundamentals of video editing, and get familiar with the coolest movie tricks and techniques, like subtitles, special effects, and green screens. The focus of the course is to enable kids to tell their story the way they want to. They can create a dramatic documentary, shoot punchy advertisements, or create film vlog episodes about their life.

The course will center around the following themes:

Introduction to the basics of video creation and editing

Understanding the post-production process and different editing techniques and styles

Understanding various movie genres

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this course.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: Every student will need to bring a device that can record video (a smartphone, tablet, or GoPro for example) and earphones with them to every class.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: Besides the video recording device and earphones, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, plus a built-in or external microphone. We recommend having a headset and a web camera too. The software needed for online communications is provided by us.

Prices, discounts and payment

Course fee:

  • Enrolment fee: 69€ (includes administrative costs, access to Scoolcode and MyLogiscool community portal).

  • Monthly fee: 69€ per month, for 9 months.

  • Semester fee (two-time payment): 289€ paid each semester (enrolment fee not incl). 7% of discount from the monthly payment.

  • Annual fee (one-time payment): 549€, for a 9-month period (enrolment fee not incl). 11,5% of discount from the monthly payment.

Discounts (only applicable for monthly payment fees):

  • "Bring your buddy" discount: 5% if registered within the same semester.

  • Siblings discount: 5% if registered within the same semester.

  • Large family or single-parent family status: 5% (need to show a valid accreditation)

  • Maximum cumulative discounts: 10%

PAYMENT METHOD:

  • Monthly payment by debit receipt ("recibo domiciliado")

  • Semester and annual payments: by debit receipt or bank transfer

COURSE DATES AND OPENING HOURS

DATES:

  • Course start date: the week of September 25, 2023

  • Course end date: the week of June 17, 2024

(Those dates can vary depending on the groups).

SESSIONS:

  • At Logiscool the school year is divided into 2 semesters of 14-17 sessions each.

  • Each session lasts 90 minutes.

If one class is missed, we can organize replacement sessions for free (maximum of 2 per semester).

SESSION TIME:

Slots available from

  • Monday to Friday afternoons from 3:45- 5:15 pm, from 5:15 -6:45 pm and from 6:45-8:15 pm

  • Saturdays from 1:00 to 2:30 pm
