Logiscool Dúbravka/Stupava is opening as the fourth branch of an international programming school in Slovakia. Technologies are integral part of our life and of the future of our kids. We want to prepare your and our kids to deal with the virtual enviroment skillfully and safely.
In a world where technology affects all aspects of our lives, it is essential for our children to become active creators of these technologies and not just passive users. Our students have the opportunity to develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills, which they can also use in school. In the 21st century, digital literacy is increasingly becoming a basic requirement. We inspire students not only to passively receive and use computer technology, but also to actively create it. Although not all our students will become programmers, Logiscool is the perfect "investment" in any future job - there is a growing need for all kinds of programming knowledge around the world.
Logiscool Dúbravka/Stupava is not just about teaching, but also about fun and friendships in the international community of children who meet either in person at Logiscool or virtually at MyLogiscool.
After many years of successful work in the IT sector and at leadership positions, I had an internal need to contribute to the development of the society. I've been thinking about different forms as well as educating children. The Logiscool concept appealed to me a lot because it contains a complex programme of several years of education. Children will not only visit a one-off course, but can purposefully gain a deep knowledge of programming. In the past, English was seen as an advantage that would allow my generation to succeed and today I consider structured thinking, knowledge of programming and automation to be an advantage. In fact, knowledge of English is today a necessity and not an advantage and I believe that in the future structured thinking, knowledge of programming and automation will be a necessity for the success of the individual. At Logiscool, I found an elaborate system for teaching this knowledge to young children whom the acquired knowledge and skills will help to succeed in the future. A manager with more than 22 years of experience in IT and management. He comes from a family of teachers, so the connection between educating the younger generation and IT made a lot of sense to him. Professionally, besides Logiscool, he also engages in consulting and representing people in collective labor relations, facilitating study stays abroad, and various volunteer activities. He is the chairman of the Technology Union and KAPA12.
My main role as a school coordinator is to support our students and their parents. I am here to answer your questions about Logiscool courses, workshops and camps. My main task is to keep in touch with parents, I focus on organising lessons and our events. I am looking forward to meeting a lot of new students and their parents.
