We as parents know that digital literacy has become an essential tool for navigating the present and the future. In our special courses, our dedicated trainers will help your kids become self-confident and conscious users of digital tools and online platforms including the basics of programming. All this, in a playful, fun, and easily understandable way.

Improve your kids’ digital skills!

Like most kids, your child will also grow up with a smart phone or tablet in hand, either in the home environment or outside of it. Equip your kids with the tools and critical thinking skills that can help them navigate an increasingly digitized future. This course will cover the basics of algorithmic thinking and programming, digital content creation, as well as internet use and safety. It will also introduce kids to computer hardware, digital devices, and robotics. With us, your kids can enjoy the path to digital literacy, learning essential skills in a playful manner!

Highlights

The course will center around the following themes:

Algorithmic thinking

Programming: from block-based coding and calculation through easy-to-understand visual platforms, all the way to text-based coding

Digital content creation: 3D game design, digital drawing, image and video editing, text and presentation editing

Internet use and safety: online security, netiquette and online communication

The basic use of computer hardware and digital devices

Robotics

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this course.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: A Google account is necessary for participation. We provide all the necessary tools for the course.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: To participate in the online course, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, a built-in or external microphone, a Google account and a mouse. We recommend having a headset and a web camera as well. The software needed for online communication is provided by us.

We warmly welcome all our old and new students to our continuing and new courses in September!

TO OUR CURRENT STUDENTS: During August we open the simplified pre-registration for our September courses, and notify all parents by e-mail. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

FOR NEW STUDENTS: If you haven't visited us yet, we look forward to meeting you on our free family open days! As a parent, you will receive information about how and with what method we teach. Your child can also play their first computer game and take the experience home.

Poplatok za kurz

Poplatok za kurz sa platí jednorazovo: 314 EUR /semester (školský polrok).

Zľavy

  • Skupinová zľava: 5% - ak sa spolu prihlásia aspoň 4 noví študenti, ak sa do nášho programu registrujú prvýkrát. Zľava platí na prvý akademický rok kurzu Logiscool.

  • Súrodenecká zľava: 5% - obaja súrodenci sa zapisujú na našu školu na ten istý školský rok. Zľavu je možné uplatniť, pokiaľ obaja súrodenci študujú na našej škole.

  • Maximálna zľava, ktorú je možné kombinovať je 10%

Platobné podmienky

Vo všetkých prípadoch vystavujeme na meno študenta e-faktúru za kurz, ktorú prosíme uhradiť bankovým prevodom pred prvou hodinou Logiscool v danom mesiaci.

Dates and application

Naše kurzy začínajú v septembri 2022 a trvajú do júna 2023.

Oba semestre zahŕňajú 17 hodín Logiscool. Naše hodiny sú raz týždenne 90 minút (2x45 minút). Skupiny začíname v pracovné dni od 14:15, 16:00 a 17:45.

V prípade absencie poskytujeme 2 bezplatné náhradné hodiny za semester.

Okrem stanoveného času je možné zvoliť aj alternatívne termíny. Označte všetky vhodné termíny v ponuke. Ak vám žiadny z voľných termínov nevyhovuje, kontaktujte riaditeľa školy alebo vyberte (akýkoľvek) termín a do kolónky POZNÁMKA nám napíšte ďalšie informácie, aby sme našli riešenie. Kolónka Poznámka sa nachádza na konci registračného formulára.

Všetkým rodičom posielame týždeň pred začiatkom kurzu email, ktorý obsahuje všetky dôležité informácie o začiatku kurzu.
