"Hacker" Coding Camp

In Logiscool's latest holiday camp, your kids can master the programming mindset by solving exciting challenges. The camp will also focus on developing their creativity, problem-solving skills and logic.

Mysterious codes and secret messages

Skillful, creative programmers are needed now more than ever, as a group of evil hackers swore to stop YouTube forever and ruthlessly erase all videos! In this camp, kids will need to figure out mysterious codes and decipher secret messages, so they can solve the YouTube mystery. By engaging in exciting logic games, kids will not only learn the basics of algorithmic thinking and programming, but also develop their creativity, problem-solving skills and logic.

Highlights

Kids will learn the basics of programming through our own, unique, self-developed educational platform, Scoolcode. Scoolcode mixes colorful digital blocks and games with programming elements and commands, along with written code, depending on your child’s age and knowledge level.

Kids will participate in exciting missions and puzzles with their friends.

Just like real hackers, kids will learn what terms like encoding and encryption mean, introducing them to the basics of internet security.

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this camp.

Prices and discounts

  • Price of camp are to be found in the registration form

DISCOUNTS:

  • Early check-in discount: 5% if you check in by 30 May at the latest

  • Sibling discount: 5% if two siblings sign up together

  • Own student discount: 5% for students attending the Logiscool course

  • Maximum overall discount: 10%

PAYMENT: The application will be valid after payment of the deposit. After receiving the application, we will send you an email with the information needed to pay the deposit to the email address provided during registration. When making a payment, enter the child's name, abbreviated camp name and arrival date in the notification box so that your payment can be identified. Upon receipt of the amount, Logiscool will issue an electronic invoice. Only children whose participation fee will be paid no later than the payment date stated on the invoice can take part in the camp.

In the event that we are unable to carry out the selected camp, we will provide you with the option of choosing a different date or type of camp, or request a refund of the deposit you have paid.

Technical details

The camps take place during the summer holidays in the chosen weeks. We are expecting children aged 7-14 in our 5-day camps!

Dates: Our camps run from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 16:00.

Arrival and departure: Arrival is possible from 8:00 and we can provide supervision no later than 16:15.

Boarding: We provide children with tithing, lunch and a snack bar. When registering, list any possible food allergies your children may have.

Camp types

All-day camp: children participate in our camp-specific program in one half of the day, while we provide them with a leisure program in the second half of the day. The focus of the camp and the leisure program can be in the morning or in the afternoon, we will send you the exact schedule before the start of the camp. In addition to "thematic programs" and coding, our goal is to introduce varied programs to camping children. In addition to training their brains, we make sure that exercise, sports and teamwork are part of their daily activities. program (i.e. morning or afternoon)

PARKING: Our school is located at Dúbravka - Sekurisova 16 - you will find us on the ground floor. Parking is possible in the area at the curb and in front of apartment buildings. And in Stupava - on Okružná 1. Parking is possible in the vicinity at the curb and in front of apartment buildings.

  • During the camps we pay attention to personal hygiene.

  • We also disinfect the facility during group changes and we also regularly ventilate classrooms and common areas.

  • Our school offers education in small groups, so there is a maximum of 12 people (and one teacher) in the room at a time.

We reserve the right to make changes to the advertised camps!
